Savings suggestions offered “The Qinton Credit Association would like to encourage all its members to con sider raising the amount they are having deducted for savings,” says Manager Har vey Dickert. “Last year we gave Credit Association members an opportunity to increase their savings and many did so. One of the pri mary functions of the Clinton Credit Asso ciation is to encourage and promote thrift. Members are reminded of the importance of increasing the rate of savings for numer ous reasons,” said Dickert. “Members should consider opening an additional savings account for Christmas and vacation purposes. “Maybe you have made a withdrawal, have a loan payment, and want to save at a faster rate. These goals can be achieved easily by coming to our office and changing your payroll deduction rates, or opening a new account for a special purpose,” added Dickert. “Those who are not enrolled in a payroll deduction plan can make deposits in per son,” said Dickert. “Our staff has been very busy this holi day season as we have experienced loan de mands beyond ourexpectations,” headded. “The addition of our in-house computer system is enabling us to serve our customer more efficiently,” explained Dickert. “We appreciate those who save and those who participate in our loan program.” As we enter 1989, the association plan to offer additional financial services as Asso ciation’s deposits and loan demand per mits. Member Betty Josselyn reviews one of many loan applications Annual meeting held The Annual Meeting of the Clinton Credit Association was held December 7, 1988. Approximately 30 members attended the occasion where officers and committee members detailed the activities of the fi nancial institution during 1988. Clinton Mills President Thad Williams commended the staff for the outstanding achievements the Association has made during 1988. The group also recognized Karl Flynn, of the Company’s EFA Plant Karl was the only out-of-state member attending the meeting to review the Association’s per formance.
