Appointed
Clinton Mills of Geneva Personnel Director
Bob Dettmar has been appointed by Alabama
Governor George Wallace to serve on
the Region VII Advisory Council of the Job
Training Partnership Act.
Dettmar was nominated for the post's
"private sector" representative by Geneva
Chamber of Commerce Director Evelyn Tew

affairs.
Hutto stated Dettmar was chosen based
on specific mandate set forth in the Jobs
Training Partnership Act.
In the JTPA post. Dettmar and other representatives
will recommend training programs
to serve the region, review and comment
on the plans, assist in the development
of publicity for the program, and provide
input to the various training projects.
Dettmar currently is serving as president
of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.

To the Editor:
On behalf of the members of S.A.M., Mr.
Scarborough, Mr. McCraw and myself, I
would like to thank Clinton Mills tor setting
up and taking us on the plant tour last
Thursday.
I have had several people tell me how
much they enjoyed the tour and how impressed
they were with the Bailey Plant. I
believe that the tour was very interesting and
