Pre-admission Testing
Pre-admission testing performed on an
out-patient basis prior to hospital confinement
is covered if such testing is performed
within five days of confinement.
While everyone would like to avoid hospital
confinement, this is sometimes impos

However, certain X-ray and laboratory .
tests performed prior to elective surgery can J
often reduce the cost per hospital stay as
well as time lost away from work and the >
family. \
