Motorcycle

A day without rain...minimum of traffi...a
couple of fellow cyclists...a welllanned
trip. That's what Plant No. 2 Spining
Technician Leonard Pitts calls a leisure
ay, as he rides his Honda 750 street bike
iroughout Laurens County and the surlundine
area
"My brother and cousins all have motorcyes.
Team riding is always safer and more
ljoyable," he added.
"As with any piece of equipment, mainteince
is essential. Having some mechanical
lowledge, I can keep my bike operating at
;ak efficiency at a minimum of cost."
Pitts rides his Honda from Cross Hill to
inton daily as he works the second shift,
t's a real economical method of transpor

el. On weekends, I can travel about 400
lies for less than $15."
"A good motorcycle is really more enjoy)le
than a car," says Pitts. "If you watch
e traffic, maintain your bike in good condi5n,
and keep the speed down, a two
leeled vehicle is relatively safe."
