Work Safely
Let's Prever
There are manv Deoole who work for \/p?rc
without ever having a medical injury...HOW
DO THEY DO IT? It is a habit they form of
staying alert, and giving some thought to
how they're going to do a job before they
start.
Planning always pays off in efficiency and

habit if repeated enough. The best

things to do to avoid an injury is to know the
safety rules that apply to your job or work
area and follow those rules without exception.
Keep your mind on safety in everything
you start to do, and remember safety should
start when you do.

and they are the same every day. An employee
who keeps his mind on what he is
doing at all times will stay alert to injuries.
Don't do anything you are not sure you know
the best and safest way to do. To keep from
getting hurt, never get in too big a hurry to do
the job safely. Before starting to do any job,
always think of all the hazards that could
happen, then do what is necessary to keep
those things from happening. Almost everything
we do has some degree of hazard if we
go at it in a careless manner. But if we pay

injuries can be prevented. The real key to
preventing an injury is to anticipate it happening
before it does, and remember that
time spent on safety helps to insure a longer,
happier, more productive working life.
It is your individual responsibility to your
company, your family, and most of all to
you . WORK SAFELY.
