E\ t "A few months ago. I made up my mind that if I was eome to stav in the textile mhnQ try, I had to prepare for the future. That's why I'm enrolled in Piedmont Tech's Industrial Electronics Technology course. "The equipment in manufacturing areas has become more and more complicated and a technician has to keep improving himself if he does a good job," Hampton says. When completed, Hampton will have spent almost three years in classroom, laboratory, and field training to earn his Associate degree. A graduate of Clinton High, Hampton is a Plant No. 2 shop employee. His father, Harold Hampton, is a General Services employee and his mother, Kathryn, is retired from Lydia Weaving. v K.
