The new law went into effect for the year 1981. As you know, Clinton Mills pays the premium cost of the S50 weekly accident and sickness benefit for all eligible employees. In accordance with the new law, applicable weekly accident and sickness benefits which you receive during the year will be reported to the IRS and will be reported to you on a W-2 form to be included on your income tax return.
