Q. How many people donate blood in the
general population?
A. Three out of 100 people donate.
Q. How often do people need blood?
A. One person every 17 seconds needs
blood.

"The Carolina Blood Center has scheduled
its fall and winter visits to Clinton
Mills," according to Sonny King, coordinator
of Clinton's Health and Safety.

September 15 and 16 While at Bailey and
Lydia, the medical personnel will accept
blood from donors on all three shifts.
On October 5. the unit will visit Plants I
and II and receive blood donations from the
third shift only. The Carolina Blood Center
personnel will return to Plants I and II on
Jan 18 and 19 for first and second shift
employees.
Under Clinton Mills I and II, Lydia and
Bailey Plants participation in the Carolina
Blood Center assurance program, unlimited
