25th Anniver
Clinton Mills 25th Annual Old Timer's
Gathering was held October 5 in
the Presbyterian College Dining Hall.
J.R. "Dick" Swetenburg, Vice President
of Manufacturing, served as
master of ceremonies for the dinner,
recognizing over 400 active and retii ed
employees who have completed a
quarter century or more continuous
service to the company.
Clinton President George H. Comel4
son recognized the incoming 25,40, and
50 year members as he expressed his
appreciation for their loyal and dedicated
support over the years.
Entertainment for the occasion was

At the close of the banquet, Presbyterian
College Food Service Director
Vernon Powell served a special
anniversary cake to those club members
wishing to have a slice. The cake,
which was a replica of Clinton's corporate
flag, was on display as the 400 plus
Old Timers and their guests arrived.
Dr. William Redd Turner, Pastor
Emeritus of the Clinton First Presbyterian
Church, was also recognized
for his many years participation in the
Old Timer's activities. Dr. Turner has
given the invocation and benediction
at many of the banquets in prior years.
