David Word who retired after 45 years' service, according to Vice President and Treasurer Thad Williams. Fennell, a native of Clinton, received his B.S. Degree in Marketing from the University of South Carolina in 1973. He joined the company in 1974 as Assistant Office Manager and was promoted to Officer Manager September 1, 1975. Fennell is married to the former Julia Nelson of Clinton. They have one son, Todd. i ov. 27 tie B. Roberts. ii I^Vb. ^|| JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT ADVISORS Junior Achievement Advisors Russell Vance, Allen Robertson, and Matthew King are serving as advisors for Clinton Mills' sponsored Clintex Junior Achievement Company. Members of the group are lef Wilson Barnes, Kitty Norris, George Tucker, Pat Tuck* ES VOL. 25-N0.4 Mills is Three Davenport, who joined Clinton Mills as a manufacturing trainee in 1962, has served as Lydia Plant manager since 1972. Prior to that, he served as Lydia and Plant No. 2 spinning superintendent, respectively. Roberts also announced that Glenn D. Gaskins had been promoted from Lydia weaving superintendent, to Lydia plant manager. Gaskins has been Lydia weaving superintendent since joining the company in 1953. The Davenports will move to Geneva in the near future. Joe Littlefield has been promoted from Clinton Mills Plant No. 2 Assistant General Weaving Superintendent to Lydia Weaving Supertenripnt Littlefield, a 1951 graduate of Laurens High School, joined the company in 1954, and has spent the past twenty three years in numerous manufacturing and supervisory weaving positions.
