The Woman's Club of
Clinton MHis met in the
Fellowship Hall of Calvary
Baptist Church July 1. A
covered dish dinner was
enjoyed by those attending.
Many of the ladies were
attired in gowns of yesteryear.
The Fellowship Hall was
decorated in the patriotic
red, white, and blue. Flags,
liberty bells, and an arrangement
of red, white, and blue
carnations were used on the
dining tables and throughout
the social hall.
Mrs. Sadie Powers, Vice
President, gave a cordial
welcome to members and
guests in the absence of the
president.
Special guests for the
festive occasion were the
volunteer workers of the
Club's project - "Project Life
Lines."
Sam Williams was
narrator and Mrs. Edna
Terry read the Scripture and
made appropriate
comments. Mrs. Eva West
gave the prayer, "God Bless
America."
Steven McGee played
"Taps" on the trumpet,
accompanied by Mrs. David
Brown, pianist for the
program.

Land, Mrs. Sadie Powers,
Mrs. Myrtice Foster and
Mrs. Eva West.
The Reverend Carroll
Andrews, pastor of Calvary
Baptist Church, closed the
meeting with prayer and
benediction.
