Clayton A. Reese, better
known by his many friends
as "Shorty", recently
received his twenty five (25)
years service award.
"Shorty" as he prefers to
be called, had worked on a
farm and as a carpenter
before finally going to work
in a textile plant.

"When I get through with
i this one, I'll have about
$2,500 in it," said Carroll
Baker as he drove along in a
1948 Chevrolet he's restoring.
"I bought it from my
, brother-in-law for $400, and
we have added mag wheels, a
floor shift, and I'll soon be
panning 11 sunnower yeiiow.
Carroll, a Plant No. 2
Spinning Technician, drives
this car most of the time to
work. The original motor has
been replaced with a rebuilt
one.

Arnold Enjoys

Paul A. Arnold, Sr. completed
twenty-five (25) years
of continuous service July 16.
An air conditioning
technician, Arnold finds his
work interesting and
challenging.
"When I'm not working
with air conditioning and
refrigeration, I enjoy camping
and CB radios," said
Arnold.
Paul is a resident of 284

Charles, who is also a Lydia
air conditioning technician.

parts.
Carroll's recreational
interest include motorcycle
riding in addition to his auto
mechanics.
His wife, Ruby, is a first
shift Plant No. 2 Spinner.
