Clint West's
Career Began
40 Years Ago
Over forty years ago,
Clint West came to Clinton
Mills as a "helper" in the
maintenance department.
"I later became a shift
electrician." added West.
he vividly recalled his
pleasant work career with
the Company.
West noted he had worked
as a filter and power
plant operator, industrial
engineer, and presently, a x
supply clerk.
"I enjoy eating out, reading,
and watching television,"
stated West, who
is a member of the Masons,
American Legion, and
Secretary-Treasurer of the
Marlowe Bible Class at Calvary
Baptist Church.
Clint's wife, Myrt, is in
charge of in-service training
at Bailey Memorial Hospital.
She is a former Clinton
Mills r.urse.

Dot Lanford: 'I Enjoy
"This time of the year I
enjoy my garden," says Dot
Lanford. whose continuous
service record dates back
to April 1951.
"I worked at Joanna for
about eighteen months, and
then came here. I enjoy my
work as a Loom Filling
Supplier Instructor," says
Dot's husband, Harry, is
a Bailey Plant Weaving Assistant
Departmental Superintendent.
Their son,
Steve, is a Lydia Plant
Manufacturing Management
Trainee, and their daughter,
Sandra, is a Lydia
Weaver. Another daughter, DOT I
Denise, is a LPN Student
at Bailey Memorial Hospital.

Jimmy Richey has been
employed by Clinton Mills
since March 26, 1951.
"I've had almost every
job in the Spinning Department,"
recalled Richey as
he discussed his employment
history at Lydia.
"I came to work when I
became old enough. I was
assisting in the installation
of some new machinery."

and now I'm a Spinning
Technician."
Richey says his hobby is
fishing and attending high
school football games.
