MRS. TUCKER
Mrs. Tucker Completes 25 Years
Mrs. Nathalee Tucker completed 25 years continuous
service on August 21, 1975.
She came to Lydia as a Spinner following many years textile
employment in area textile plants. "When I came to work at
Lydia, I liked this better than any of the other places I'd ever
worked, so I decided to stay," said Mrs. Tucker.
"I guess I'll spend most of my time visiting my children and
keeping house," she added. "I'm retiring today, also," she
remarked as she held onto the engraved Accutron watch she had
just received in commemoration of her quarter century of
service. "The hardest thing about retiring is having to leave the
people you've worked with for so long."

to be at a race somewhere if
there is one."
Changing Times
Brought Dillard H
To Clinton Mills B
"I've been on the same job
ever since I came to work on
August 14, 1950," said John M.
Dillard as he received his
Bulova Accutron pocket watch
for completing 25 years continuous
service.
Prior to coming to Clinton
Mills, John delivered ice for a
number of years. "Changing
times eliminated the need for
an ice man," he added, "so I
had to come to the "mill" for a
place to work."
In his spare time, Dillard
works for Mr. E.E. Cox, who
does general landscaping and
farm work.
Dillard lives on Florida
Street Extension.
