Sanders joined the company October 1,
1935 and was a machinist when promoted
to his new position.
Silas joined Clinton Mills June 11,
1955. He is a graduate of Clinton Hign
School and attended Presbyterian Collegates

Kenneth is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Stroud. His father is a Plant
No. 2 Carding employee.
Randy is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Claude Ward Clinton Maintenance and
Plant No. 2 employees, respectively.
The two will join delegates from
other high schools throughout the state
for a week of training in democratic
principles of government. The activities
will be held at the Citadel.
Boys' State is, in effect, a convention
for training the young men of South
Carolina for their future responsibilities
as leaders in government in the state.
