He is a 1966 graduate of Clinton High School and received his BS Degree in Industrial Education from Clemson University in 1970. Gregg is a Lieutenant in the South ) Carolina National Guard. His hobbies P include target shooting, hunting, and auto mechanics. George Grant was named Assistant Spinning Superintendent April 9, 1973. Turner has been named Lydia Carding Assistant Superintendent. according to Superintendent Van Oxner, Jr. Carl succeeds Thurman King who recently retired after over 27 years service. He joined the company in 1960 and most recently was a Roving and Drawing Technician prior to assuming his present position. Turner is a 1959 graduate of Newberry High School and has completed a series of carding courses through the ICS home study program. He has also participated in Human Relations Courses at Piedmont Tec.
