VOL. 23, NO. 2 Published By Stanton Succeed William E. Stanton has been named Clinton Mills Purchasing Agent, effective March 1, according to Vice ^ President of Manufacturing D. H. Roberts. Stanton succeeds W. Eugene Johnson, who is retiring. Johnson joined the company in 1930, and in 1931 organized its first purchasing department. Stanton holds a degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. He joined Clinton Mills in 1970 as Office Manager. He is a member of the Clinton Kiw wanis Club and is active in numerous I other civic and community programs. He, his wife, the former Elizabeth Harvey, and 5 year old son Brian, live on Holly Street. They are members of Broad Street Methodist Church. 1970 Bailey Scholarship Recipient Steve Fennell Named Ai I ? Steve, a graduate of Clinton High School, and a 1970 M. S. Bailey Scholarship Recipient, received his B. S. Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1973. He was recipient of the school's Certificate for Academic Excellence for the fall '72 semester. He was employed by the company during the summers of 1968. 69. 70 and 71.
