Two Complete Two Clinton Mills employees reached 50 year milestones in their employment ? careers with the company during Jan^ uary. Mel Satterfield, Lydia Weaving, and Winnie D. Barnett, No. 2 Cloth, received special engraved plaques commemorating their golden anniversary service date. The plaques, presented by their re spective Plant Managers, Ted Davenport and Dick Swetenburg and the departmental superintendents, on behalf of the Clinton Mills Board of 0 Directors, Corporate Officers, and other members of management expressed appreciation for Mel and Winnie's contributions to the growth and success of the company during the past half century. In addition to the plaques, on the weekend following their anniversary date, their Plant Manager and Personnel Director Calvin Cooper visited ^ them at home. "Sonny" King has been named Clinton Mills Co-ordinator of Behavioral Systems Programs. King, a native of Anderson, S. C., attended Clemson University School of Textiles from 1953 to 1955. He transferred to Presbyterian College in 1955 and received his BA degree in 1959. During his college career, King was active in Clinton's sports and recreational programs. He served as a Clinton Mills Swimming Pool lifeguard durine the summers of 1957 and 1958.
