Although America is now in one of
her greatest periods of prosperity,
there are still a lot of businesses that
go "on the rocks" every year. And
when a business goes under, it usually
means that a lot of people lose
^ their jobs.
Now about the only reason for a
a?. . AL? X_:I

to make a profit. People who invest
their money in a business just
expect to have a reasonable return,
or else they might as well put their
money in a coffee can and hide it
under the back steps, like some old
time folks used to do.
And even in the best of companies
only a small part of the sales dollar
will wind up as profit, so a little effort
in cutting costs goes a long way.
At Clinton Mills we have a better
reason for helping our Company cut
costs than most folks do and thai
is our Profit Sharing and Retirement
Plan, which depends on profits.
