Phillip Wicker, received certificates for
successfully completing the courses
earlier this month. (
Barker and Wicker are members of j
the Clinton and Joanna Volunteer firemen's
groups, respectively. Barker has
been a volunteer fireman over thirty
years; Wicker, over ten.
^ The two received concentrated training
in the use of ladders, connecting
and caring for fire hoses, the function
and operation of air packs, respiration
equipment, etc.
Rarker has been a Clinton Mills employee
since May 25, 1940; Wicker since
December 29. 1969.

Christmas made an early arrival at
Clinton Mills as more than 1800 Clinton
VIills employees selected their personal
2ift from among 110 items in the 1972
Christmas Gift Selection Booklet.
For a number of years, with summer
vacation past and children back in
school, Clinton employees have looked
forward to "Christmas Shopping" in
rtO degree weather.
Displays were set up during the
month featuring many of the gift items
for employees to examine before making
their final selections.
Many items from previous years se
lections have been included again mis
year. The less popular items have been
replaced with additional selections to

Johnny has been employed by Clinton
Mills since June 16, 1969.
Selections Made
make the gift program bigger and better.
More than 70 retired and inactive 25year
plus employees again selected their
gifts from the company. Each inactive
OLD TIMER received a personal letter
from Clinton Mills President Robert M.
Vance extending them the opportunity
to select their gift from the company.
The same invitation was extended to
our employees serving in the military
service.
Booklets in full color showing each
gift and a brief description was distributed
to all employees.
