Mills and M. S. Bailey and Son, Bankers,
have applied for scholarships
through the Bailey Foundation.
They are David Gaskins, Mimi
^ Braswoll. Susan Bryan, Mike Blackwell,
Randy Sheriff. Debbie Fallaw,
Robert Hiers, and Donald F. Taylor.
David Gaskins is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Glenn D. Gaskins. Sr. Glenn is
Lydia weaving overseer.
David is a member of the Clinton
High School Beta Club, has been active
for several years in the Junior Achievement
Program, and is organist for
Lydia Baptist Church.
He plans to enter either Spartan^
burg or North Greenville Junior College
this fall.

lin. is a senior at Ford High School,
Laurens. Donald's favorite subjects arc
government. English, and Physics. His
father is a Lydia weaving employee.
He is active in Todd Memorial Presbyterian
Church, is a member of the
Beta Club, and serves on the Little
Eagle staff.
Melissa "Mimi" Braswcll, daughter
^ of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Braswell plans
to enter the University of South Carolina
and study Pharmacy. Mimi's
father is a Clinton shop employee;
her mother is employed by M. S. Bailey
and Son. Bankers.
Mimi enjoys chemistry and math. She
is active in the Library Club, the National
Honor Society, and the FHA.

and Mrs. Roscoc Bryan, plans to enter
h either Cletnson or the University of
South Carolina. She enjoys English
and French. Susan is president of the
National Honor Society, and was representative
to the Girls' State last year,
and is co-editor of the high school yearbook.
Susan's mother is employed by the
Bailey Agency.
Michael Blackwell. son of Mr. and
Mrs. William Blackwell, is active in
) Broad Street Methodist Church. His

Mike enjoys psychology and mathematics.
He plans to study Administrative
Management at either Clemson or
Francis Marion University.
Another scholarship applicant Randy
Sheriff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy
r.ugenc anerm, plans to enter Palmer
Business College in the fall. Math and i
English are his favorite subjects.
Randy's father is a Plant No. 2
carding employee.
Debbie Fallaw. daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Vandv Fallaw. plans to enter
Clemson or Presbyterian College. She
is active in Bethany Presbyterian
Church and is in charge of the Church's
nursery.
Her main academic interests lie in
the areas of mathmatics. chemistry,
and physics.
Debbie's extra curricular activities
include membership in the Junior

Five Clinton Mills employees completed
25 years continuous service to
the Company during March.

Airman SWalv St;
Tony E. Shealy, a member of the
United States Air Force, is stationed
at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
Airman Shealy is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Shealy. both Lydia Plant
employees.
His maternal grandparents are Mr.
and Mrs. 1. H. Ginn of Joanna

Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hiers' son,
Robert Erwin, has chosen to enter
either Presbyterian College or the University
of South Carolina this fall.
