MARCH. 1972 Barker Brotht Two Clinton Mills Plant No. 2 brothers?Charlie and Rudolph Barker ?will receive 40 year service awards next month at the annual Old Timers Banquet. Charlie will complete his 40 years ^ service on April 9. He was employed in 1932 as a battery filler. From this ijusiiiuii, nt: tiuvdiiceu 10 weaver, anu 28 years ago, became a loom fixer. He holds this position now. His brother, Rudolph, has been Assistant Overseer since 1953. He joined Clinton Mills in 1931 as a sweeper. During the last forty years, he's also been a battery filler, smash hand, weaver, "quill man," overhauler, and ^ loom fixer. The Barkers are avid fishermen. They love the outdoors, and Charlie finds hunting relaxing in the winter months.
