Good Housekeeping
Is Essential
A well planned, good housekeeping
program is important throughout our
fc Plants, as well as in our homes.
It is easy to keep our Plants clean
and neat if everyone does their part. A
clean Plant makes our job easier, safer,
more efficient, and a lot more pleasant.
Good housekeeping will help control
and reduce waste by keeping cotton
and thread waste in containers that

Quills and bobbins should not be left
on the floor to become damaged.
. Good housekeeping is important in
" preventing Plant accidents. This can
he done by having a place for everything
and insisting that everything he
kept in its place. Stairways and alleys
kept clear of obstructions can prevent
accidents. A good housekeeping program
will prevent bottles being placed
in the windows, wet floors, grease and
oil on floors, and other hazards. Take
a good look and resolve to keep your
work area clean.
Plant housekeeping is the responsibility
of every person. By combining
our efforts and working together, we
can keep a clean, neat, and orderly
place in which to work; and we will
get better production through our good
' housekeeping.
