center notices earlier this
month that Christmas Savings Accounts
for 1972 will earn interest at
the rate of 4,:Jr/<r annually.
The 1972 savines nroeram beean
with week ending November 14.
Anyone may start, stop, or change
an account anytime during the year
by notifying the Payroll Office.
On November 26, 659 employees
will receive Christmas Savings
checks totalling $286, 263.25. Last
year, 686 participants received
Christmas savings checks totalling
$277,802.50.

The Clinton Mills "Old Timers" Club
will hold its 16th Annual meeting Sunday,
November 2H. at 1:0() p.m. in
^ Greenville Hall on the Presbyterian
College campus.
A luncheon honoring active and retired
employees who have completed
25 or more years of service is planned.
Each departmental overseer has ev
tended a cordial invitation to each "Old
Timer" in his department. Individual
invitations from Clinton Mills President
Robert M. Vance were mailed to each
retired and inactive "Old Timer" earlier

inducted into the Class of '71 Old
Timers. Two employees will be recognized
for completion of 40 years continuous
service, and three will be recognized
and honored for completion of
50 or more years service with the
company.
Over 400 guests are expected to attend
the traditional occasion. D H.

manufacturing, will serve as master
of ceremonies.

Members of the Profit Sharing
and Retirement Committee interviewed
the eligible members recently
to review the retirement
provisions of the plan.
Since inception of the profit
sharing program on January 1,
1966. $195,148.56 has been paid to
eligible participants, according to
Controller Walter A. Sigman.

Thanksgiving Day by closing down
for the national holiday.
For all eligible employees,
Thanksgiving Day will be a holiday
with pay.
Thanksgiving Day is a day for
acknowledgement, appreciation and
