TODAY'S YOUTH
Does it make sense that
the youth of today is being
blamed and looked upon as
unworthv creatures that
can't be trusted. The word
"youth" always happens
to pop up when our country
is being criticized. How
did we rate getting all the
blame?
There are several things
some of the older generation
do not realize, for instance
that the vast majority
of youth is concerned
about their country and
their place in the future.
Even the youngsters that |
don't look and dress so conservatively.
can't be considered
revolutionists just
because they look different.
What is inside a person is
what counts.
Is it not possible that the
youth may be disillusioned
by war, natc and rivalry?
It is not also possible that
protesting, speaking out, is
the only way people will
listen? Surely violent protesting
is not to be condoned
but young people do
have a right to be heard!
