Employees Decorate Homes For Christmas Many employees have beautifully decorated their homes in preparation for Saint Nick's visit. Brightly lighted trees, Nativity scenes, and "Christmasy" doorways convey Season's Greetings to everyone. Home arrangements and dis plays bring joy to many who ride through the various residential areas admiring their beauty, originality, and appropriateness. Company Christmas Trees Aglow Large cedar Christmas trees burn brightly on lawns of the plants. The beautifully lighted trees, conveying Best Wishes For A Merry Christmas to all employes and their families, were cut locally by Mr. Glenn Downs and his men. Machine Shop personnel lighted the trees. Unfortunately the Clothmaker's camera cannot capture the beauty of the multi-colored lights for our many out-of-townreaders. We invite you to drive bv to see the trees as manv area residents are doing. A Christmas Prayer Let us pray that strength and courage abundant be given to all who work for a world of reason and understanding?that the good that lies in every man's heart may day by day be magnified?that men will come to see more clearly not that which divides them, but that which unites them? that each hour may bring us closer to a final victory, not nation over nation, but of man over his own evils and weaknesses?that the true spirit ol this Christmas Season?its beauty, its hope, and above all its abiding faith may live among us?that the blessings of peace be ours, the peace to build and grow, to live in harmony and sympathy with others, and to plan for the future with confidence. > Jr y ^ % PFC Larry E. Permit N. 59 Sweet Bird of the Imagination The 1966 Christmas Seal features "the sweet bird of the imagination and flora from everywhere in the U.S.," said designer Heidi Brandt, of Colorado Springs. Colors used in the 1966 design are warm red, with black and gold and a softer green. The special design of the Christmas Seal is chosen every year from nationwide competition sponsored by the National TB Association. Mrs. Brandt, who successfully designed the 1956 seal featuring a bov and oirl and t Vio 1Qf>1 coal featuring the family in all phases of Christmas, did not expect her 1966 design to be chosen, "I was afraid it was too different." Mrs. Brandt said, "A Christmas Seal should please the contributor, its color and design should be attractive and it should convey the good cheer of the season. With all the different religious groups in this country," continued Mrs. Brandt, " it would be difficult to select one religious symbol that would be appropriate. Weather variations throughout the U. S. also limit the use of adaptable winter scenes."
