This is the time of year,
especially, when we do (or at
least should) think of others.
Thanksgiving just passed,
when we stopped long enough
to count our blessings and give
thanks for them, and surely
we ask for guidance in sharing
these blessings with our fellow
man. and helping to bring
cheer, and help to those

real meaning of Christmas.
We say it's an expensive time
of year, and it is if all we give
is counted in dollars and
cents. But some of the most
appreciated gifts of all aren't
valued in money. God's gift
to the world can't be bought
bv the most wealthy person
in the world. No one can buy
love or friendship, but we
can give it. I'd like to share
this poem with you that I
think is very appropriate for
now. or any other time.
SHARE ANOTHER'S LOAD
(by Roberta Johnson Beck)
As we pilgrims make our
journeys
Along life's busy road.
Let us endeavor when we can
To share another's load.
Sometimes a fellow traveler's
load
Is more than he can bear.
And we can make it lighter
If we let him know we care.
Perhaps you've heard the
saying: "Turn
About is just fair play."

Remember when the Master
sent
A helping hand your way?
A sorrow shared is cut in half.
A joy that's shared is doubled.
So if we share, then we can
bless
The joyful and the troubled.
