read this, spring will be here,
which is my favorite time of
the year when trees, plants
and shrubs begin to show
signs of life after looking so
dead and drab all winter.
We haven't very much news
again this month. Can't seem
to get around to seeing everyone
and the ones we see don't
seem to have very much to
tell us.
We have had our share of
folks on the sick list for the
past three months. We're
hoping by news time again
everyone will be well and able
to be back at work.

days in Bailey Memorial

A big welcome to Jimmy

Lowman.
May we share these thoughts
and facts with you concerning
a book which all should
read?
The Bible contains the mind
of God, the state of man. the
way of salvation, the doom of
sinners, and the happiness of
believers. Its doctrines arc
holy, its precepts are bind
ing, its histories are true and
its decisions are immutable.
Read it to be wise, believe it
to be safe and practice it to
be holy. It contains light to
direct you, food to support
you and comfort to cheer you.
It is the traveler's map. the
pilgrim's staff, the pilot's
compass, the soldier's sword
and the Christian's charter.
Here Paradise is restored.
Heaven is opened and the
gates of hell disclosed.
Christ is its grand subject,
our good the design and the
glory of God its end.

THE CLOTHMAKER
It should fill the memory,
rule the heart and guide the
feet. Read it slowly, frequently
and prayerfully. It is
a mine of wealth, a paradise
of glory, and a river of pleasure.
It is given you in life,
will be opened at the judgment
and be remembered forever.
It involves the highest
responsibility, will reward the
greatest labor and will condemn
all who trifle with its
sacred contents.

these things about the Bible,
read it for yourself, with an
open mind and heart, with an
honest desire to know the
truth and see what changes it
can make in your own life.
