2ND SHIFT

Well folks here we are again
and we will take this time to
welcome Sammy McCall back
to the second shift from the
third.
Mrs. Nora Madden, wife of
Rav Madden, celebrated her
birthday the 15th of March.
Ray said he was scared to tell
how old she was.
Sammy McCall celebrated
his 18th birthday March 24.
Mrs. Sybil McCall was
called to Greenville recently
due to the death of her aunt,
Mrs. Pittman.
Mrs. Ralph Alexander celebrated
her birthday March 4.
Mr. Guv Turner of Washington,
D. C., brother of Dorsev
Turner, is visiting relatives
and friends in Clinton for a
few weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Alexander
are looking forward to
the return of their daughter
and son-in-law, Capt. and Mrs.
David Smart. They are due to
arrive next month from Puerto
Rico for a two weeks visit and
then will report to their new
base in Montgomery, Alabama.
It has been two years
since they were home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Alexander
visited Mrs. Alexander's
father. Mr. John Medlock, in
Easlev recently.

passed away February 12.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Ginn
celebrated their 14th wedding
anniversary March 11.
Steven Metts has been ill.
Mildred Wilson is on sick
leave. Ruby Wright will be in
our department until Mildred
returns.
Randy and Debbie Ginn
have the mumps.

You aren't seeing double, there
are two of them. Jeannie and
Jonnie are the twin daughters of
Mr. and Mrs. "Babe" Gregory.
They are nineteen months old.

Mrs. H. C. English also has
the mumps.
There have been several
cases of mumps in our family.
Our pet monkey also contracted
them. May seem funny to
think of a monkey having the
mumps but there was nothing
to laueh about as two little

brokenhearted girls had to
bury their beloved "Ginger."
Friendship Baptist Church
(my church) is having a
"March to Church" in March
drive and I would like to invite
you to worship with us

Johnny is spending a 20 day
leave at home with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. George
Price, before reporting to
Shaw Field Air Base in
Sumter. Congratulations,
Johnny, and good luck.
"Shorty" Campbell is quite
happy for her bowling team,
the Rejects, took top place the
second week in March. Other
members of the team are

There are at least three
things a person can do when
he makes a mistake:
