Philadelphia Eagles. After the
game they left for New York
arriving there on Sunday
night which gave them tw<

Wednesday. They visited the
Kyle Fuller celebrated his first
birthday October 13. He is the
nephew of Izell Campbell and
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. "Bud"
Fuller.
Empire State Building, the
United Nations Building and
the Clinton Mills Offices
where they really got the
V.I.P. treatment.
On their way home they
came by way of Washington.
D. C. Their tour there included
the White House, the
Washington Monument, the
Jefferson and Lincoln Memorial,
the Arlington National
Cemetery and the Pentagon.
So, even if the ball games
were disappointing, the rest
of the trip was worth the time
(and money) I guess.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davenport
are rejoicing over the news of
a new grandson bo^n October
8 to Mr. and Mrs. Cecil
Davenport who are in the
Philippine Islands. The little
fellow has been named
Charles Tyson and weighed 7
lb. 4 oz. Both mother and
baby are fine, but the telegram
didn't say how the
father was. Congratulations
to all.
Miss Dianne Davenport of
Greenville General Hospital
spent a recent week end at
home with her parents. Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Davenoort.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred McNinch
and Johnny visited Mr.
McNinch's brother. Frank, and
his family in Rock Hill recently.
Mrs. Nan McNineh. mother
of Alfred McNinch is recuperating
well at home following
surgery at Laurens hospital.
Mrs. Addie Lawrence was
called to Anderson the day we
turned in news last month
because of an accident in
which her daughter. Rettv.
and husband and children
were involved. Mr. and Mrs.
Juan Holder and two children
were hit by a car which failed
5 to stop at a stop sign. Juan
was not hurt but Betty and

Ann Berry, granddaughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Lawrence,
observed her 10th birthday
October 9. She is the daughter of
Mrs. Betty Holder.
the children stayed in the
hospital 5 days with multiple
injuries, Betty being hurt in
legs and chest, baby's face
was bruised and cut badly
enough until the doctors think
it will require plastic surgery
later and Donna's legs and
nose were injured. But we're
glad to report that all are recuperating
nicely at home
now and we wish them all a
speedy recovery.
Glad to report that Ellison
Roberts is able to be back
on the job after being a medi
cal patient at Bailey Memorial
Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. George Price
visited Mr. and Mrs Ellis
Turner in Ninety Six.
