Tommy Hazelrig, of Tampa,
Florida spent a few days with
Ned Handback before both
left for Athens, Georgia to attend
the University of Georgia
for the coming year. Glad to
report Ned survived a tonsilectomy
and was ready and
able to go back to school although
he had a rough time
with those tonsils.

Mrs. Ashmore Dunaway is
visiting relatives and friends
in Sarasota. Florida. Ashmore
said he had a card from her
and she's enjoying it so much
she just might stay till Christmas.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellison Roberts
and family spent a recent
Sunday in Fountain Inn with
Mrs. Roberts' niece. Mrs. Ken
Rice, and her family. They
all attended church and enjoyed
dinner, picnic style.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wade
and two small granddaughters
were recent guests of the
Cecil Wootens. Fred is a
cousin of Cecils, whom we
had not seen in over 20 years.
We really enjoyed their visit.
Friends of Mr. and Mrs.
1). W. Bagwell will be interested
to know that they have
come back to Clinton to live
after being away for about
six years. Annie Mae said
"c h i c k ens come home to
roost," and she h oped to
"roost" here the rest of her
life, for this is really home
to them.
