Mr. and Mrs. Garl Satterfield observed a wedding anniversary October 28. Mr. and Mrs Perrv Sumeral observed a wedding anniversary October 31. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Boozer visited their son and family in Charlotte Sunday and Mr. and Mrs. Rov O'Dell in Fort Mill. Friends of Fur man Bratcher will learn with interest that his mother, Mrs. Sallie Bratcher, of Greenwood has returned for a few weeks stay with he and Mrs. Bratcher. She has been ill for some time but is some better now. Phyllis Shealy celebrated her birthday on October 128. Mr. and Mrs. L. II. Fowler of Greenwood visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Corlev. Kevin McCall. grandson of Lucille Dunnawav, celebrated, his second birthday October 25. Thomas Meeks has returned home after surgery at Bailey Memorial Hospital. Douglas Overstreet celebrated his 16th birthday October 25. Mrs. James E. Coker has returned home from the local hospital where she has been a patient for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Edmonds of the Air Force has been visiting his sister, Mrs. Grace Nelson, and other relatives here. He is being transferred from Amarillo, Texas to Tampa, Florida. Shirley Vanderford celebrated a birthday October 6. Mr. B. F. Vanderford celebrated a birthday October 10. Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Mclnvaille attended the Mclnvaille Family dinner at the cabin of Mr. and Mrs. Walter West on Wateree Lake recently. WEAVING NO. 1 2ND SHIFT By Thelma Stewart Mr. Webb Taylor's mother from Tennessee visited them the other week. Winda Kay Gault celebrated a birthday October 29. Mrs. Dovic Broom and Betty took dinner with her oldest daughter, Mrs. Inez Neal, of Greenville Sunday and they visited her brother in Pickens in the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Sinclair celebrated their twenty fifth wedding anniversary Tuesday, October 9. Mr. and Mrs. James Stewart and sons took picnic lunch and motored to Chimney Pock after church the other Sunday. Patterson visited Mrs. Patterson's daughter and family in Orangeburg. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. O'Shields are the proud grandparents of another grandson. Their 6th. no granddaughter yet.
