WEAVING NO. 1 2ND SHIFT By Lillian Forester Mr. and Mrs. N o r r i s Brownlee celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary May 11. Bennie Sinclair goes fishing every day but he has not had any luck yet. They were all too small to talk about. Cpl. Kenneth Armstrong visited his narents. Mr anrl Mrs. Earl Armstrong, last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Grady Caviness and other relatives of Whitmire visited the Armstrongs also. Little Paul Eric Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Campbell, celebrated his 1st birthday May 14. WEAVING NO. 2 & 4 2ND SHIFT By Thelma Stewart Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gregory and family visited Mrs. Gregory's grandmother in Spartanburg Sunday. Rov Patterson, W a vne Templeton. Webb Taylor, Luther Rhodes and several more men went to Catawba fishing Sunday. They didn't have any luck. Floyd's nephe w visited them recently. After his leave home from the Navy he will return to Naples. Italy f or eighteen months. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Moore visited Mr. L. E. Culbertson while he was in Blalock Clinic. Glad to know he is home now and feeling better. James and Floyd, Jr. spent the week end camping at Lake Greenwood with several other Scouts. Daisy Moore and family visited friends in Ware Shoals during Easter. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Moore and family visited friends at l.incolnton. Georgia Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. James Stewart and family were called to Seneca the other Saturday due to Mrs. Stewart's aunt's death. Mrs. Venie Sheriff.
