father, Mr. M. D. Smitherman.

him.
Mrs. Ralph Alexander had
a birthday March 4.
Little Jimmy Cothran. son
of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cothran,
was one year on January
13.
I've been told Robert Butler
is sporting a new car. but
it hasn't give him the big
head. He is still the same old
Robert.
Sorrv to report that Nell
Gardner has been a patient
at Blalock Clinic, but glad
she is able to be home and is
improving. We miss you Nell.
Our warp boy, Charles
Bonds, left us recently. We
wish him luck in his new
work.
We wish to express our
deepest thanks to our many
friends for the many kind
deeds during our illness. Your
thoughtfulness will always
be remembered. May God

Simmons went to Greenville
last Saturday to a baseball
game.
Miss Linda Hooper of Newberry
spent the week end
with her sister Betty Creswell
and family.
We welcome Kenneth Bull
to the second shift.
Ray Madden said he has
not been any where worth
telling, but he had learned
to do the TWIST.

you see. they're not in production
at the time of this
writing. They're still in the
starting-up stage. I sure hope
I'm not complaining.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellison Roberts

sons, O'neal and Robbie, and
families in Pickens on a recent
week end.
Lt. L. E. Wood of New
London. Conn, is visiting his
mother, Mrs. J. D. Williams,
and Mr. Williams and while
here went on to Cocoa. Florida
to visit his children.

Mary's occupation since her
