Joe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert
McCall and Josephine,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Bennie Brewer, were united
in marriage on Sunday afternoon,
December 24, at 2:30
o'clock by Rev. Jenkins, pastor
of the Church of God, Elizabeth
Street at the church.
After a short trip to the
mountains they returned to
their apartment on Musgrove
Street.
Terry, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Toby Campbell ana Delora,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Lydia, were married
December 23, at 8:00 oclock
at Calvary Baptist Church by
their pastor, Rev. J. W. Spillers.
Terrv and Delora spent
a week at Daytona Beach and
for the present are making
their home with Delora's parents.

sympathy but wc don't feel
a bit sony for them. They are
two wonderful couples and
we can find nothing in our
hearts for them except congratulations
and best wishes
for every happiness life can
bring. Bv putting Christ first
in their home, we think
they'll obtain it.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gibbs
spent their holidays in Gatlinburg,
Tennessee. Joe said
if you had never seen the
mountains with snow that
you had missed a really
beautiful sight.

Williams were dinner guests
of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Slav in
Greenville one day during the
holidays. They also visited
Mrs. Florence Moore in Edgefield
one day.
Mr. and Mrs. George Price
and sons and Roger Dunaway,
Amelia and Melinda
Stroud visited Mr. and Mrs.
Herman Veal in Commerce.
Georgia.
Mr. and Mrs. George Price
spent one day in Chester visiting
Mr. and Mrs. Odel Gregory.
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Harvey
and daughter of Cleveland,
Ohio spent Christmas holi
days visiting relatives and
friends in Clinton and
Joanna.
Mr. and Mrs. Rav Klein
have been visiting Ray's parents
in Claremont, South Dakota.
Mrs. Klein will be remembered
as Becky Jennings,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ste
wart Jennings, it was Becky's
first trip out there and we are
sure she enjoyed it. Ray and
Becky have been married a
very short time so maybe congratulations
are still in order.
Anyway we wish them much
happiness.
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Jennings
carried their daughter,
Doris, to the doctor in Charlotte,
Saturday. Doris has
been under the care of the
eve specialist for some time.
We truly hope that she is
making progress.
Our best wishes for an ear
iv recovery goes to Mrs.
David Owens, who is a surgical
patient at Blaock Clinic.
