Time Nears to
Apply for College
Scholarship
Employees are reminded
that the deadline for applications
for the annual Mercer
Silas Bailey College Scholarship
is March 1st but applications
should be made early.
This is particularly true in
view of the fact that college
entrance examinations must
be taken before the deadline
date.
The two annual scholarships
are available to children
of employees or to employees
of college age. Each carries a
value of $750.00 a year for
four years. The winner may
attend the South Carolina
college of his or her choice.
Full information and application
blanks are available at
the Personnel Office. High
school principals will provide
information about college entrance
examinations.
