SEPTEMBER. 1961 WEAVING No. 1 1ST SHIFT By?Alta Riser Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Spurlock and family of Charleston visited Mr. and Mrs. Marcell Barker Labor Day week end. They all motored to the mountains on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Suttles visited relatives in the mountains recently. We are glad to have Oscar Kinard back at work after being out sick recently. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Terry, Jo Carol, Susan and Mrs. Joe Terry spent a recent week end in Columbia with Mrs. Bill Terry's mother, Mrs. D. G. Jackson. Mrs. L. M. Riser, R. E. Riser and Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Mr. and Mrs. Hobert Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Philips and Mrs. Inez Turner attended the funeral of Mr. James Suttles in Marion, N. C. September 16th. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gardner, Barry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Caughman. He observed his 12th birthday August 9. I Mrs. J. J. Smith and Nan ' Smith attended the wedding of Mrs. Smith's grandson, Mr. Alvin Hueble and Miss Rachel Ann Wilson. Mr. Hueble and Miss Wilson ' were married at Broad Street ] Methodist Church on Sep tember 1st. Mr. Hueble is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hueble and Mrs. Hueble is the daughter of Mr. and ! Mrs. Cecil Wilson of this city. Mrs. J. J. Smith, Nan and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gardner and Grady Smith attended the funeral of Mrs. J. J. * Smith's brother-in-law, Mr. T. M. Dillard. in Greer on September 2nd. Rhonda Butler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Butler. was 7 years old September 26. ; Earl Turner will be 12 years old October 13. Mrs. Homer Lawson celebrated her birthday September 10 in the hospital. Better luck next time, Mrs. Lawson. Christine Brewer's father continues ill at his home in Gray Court. Miss Mvra Snelgrove left Monday for Winthrop College. Mrs. Lizzie Hooper, mother of Betty Creswell, has been a patient at Newberry Hospital. We wish them both a very speedy recovery. Glad to have Coley Campbell back after a few days sickness.
