Here we are again and acYc ready for another vacation. how about you? We want to welcome Mrs. Gladys Hughes and son to )ur community. Gladys has been working with us a long lime and living in Laurens. Leon telling her all the time die should move, so now she bought a house on Milling Avenue and we sincerely hone she's I'ninu to eniov living here. Seems as if "Ghost Town" in Maggie Valley, North Carolina is about the most popular name of the day. Every where you go you see ears with stickers on the bumpers proclaiming they have visited "Ghost Town". Well it's a trip that you'll enjoy or at least everyone that we've talked to who lias been says so. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Braswell. Cecil and vour reporter (Grace) visited there on Saturday July Your Safety .... Depends On You! 29. and went on into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Wo really enjoyed it. Mr. and Mrs. Grady Smith cisited "Ghost Town" and Satlinburg the first week end in August. They made li 1 most the same round we did and said they really enjoyed it too. Mrs. Bobbie Jean Hughes, sister of William Lambert, is a medical patient at Chester Hospital. We wish for her a speedy recovery. A/3C Jimmy Smith reported back to Newark, N. J. August 11 after spending 21 days at home. Jimmy left the same dav for France for a three year tour of duty.
