McLendon, and family. Helen Cook celebrated a birthday on February 28th. Jimmy Meeks celebrated a birthday on February 20. Mrs. Sarah Jenkins and Lynn and Mrs. Willie Cannon spent a recent Sunday in oeneca with their mother, Mrs. J. H. Crow, and sister, Mrs. Jerry Holland. Mr. and Mrs. John Clallman and daughter visited in Rock Hill the past week end. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Hudson Davis and other relatives in the death of his brother-in-law, Mr. Pat Patterson, a former employee and resident of Lydia. Jimmy Stewart, son of Mr. n and Mrs. James Stewart, was 9 years old January 2. The Lydia Fishing Club had ^ a reel off supper Saturday night. February 4th. They fed a hundred or more and every- ^ one enjoyed it very much. Mr. and Mrs. James Stewart ? celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary February 1st.
