Mrs. Harrison Nabors. in Greenwood last Monday. Tommy McCarson will celebrate his 19th birthday February 13. Friends of Janice Davenport Cannon will be sorry to learn she is a patient at Blalock Clinic. We are all sorrv that Mr. Bratcher is out sick. We sincerely hope that he will be well and able to return to work in a few days. This being the beginning of a new year we hope that each and everyone will try to make this a more safe year than any we have had and we feel sure with the cooperation of each employee this can be accomplished. Broome and Miss Betty McDonald on Tuesday evening of the past week. Pvt. Kenneth Armstrong of Fort Jackson spent the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Armstrong. Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Hughev and daughters visited Mr. and Mrs. Harvev Green in Hamn ton. Mrs. Barbara Hall in Union and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Henderson in Paeolet during the holidays. Miss Doris Ruth Hall of Union spent a few days with the Hugheys and Miss Nancy Hughey returned home with her to Union for a few days. Patty Hughey spent several days in Spartanburg with relatives. Florida visited Mr. and Mrs. Perry Sumeral and other relatives here during Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hughes celebrated their eighth wedding anniversarv on December 24. Janie Phipps and Roger Dale Johnson have returned to De La Howe School in McCormick after spending a time with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Jackson. Mr. Joe Corlev attended the funeral of his sister-in-law in Greenwood Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sprouse attended a birthday dinner for his mother who is 83 years young.
