Little Randy Heaton, grandson of the Neuffer Creswells, wanted to plav in the snow Christmas, so granddaddy Neuffer and grandmother obliged the little fellow by carrying him all the way to Gatlinbure to find some snow. Mrs. Missouri Wilkie and granddaughter, Melane, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wilkie spent most of the Christmas holidays in Gainesville, Geor gia with Missouri's mother, Mrs. J. F. Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Putnam and son and Billy Glenn spent a day in Rock Hill with Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Seigler. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lee Smith and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wood and children of Greenwood, Lt. L. E. Wood of the U. S. Navy, Jack Williams of Columbia, Mr. and Mrs. Dessie Wilkes were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Williams Christmas. Lt. Fowler and Patsy were guests of Mr. Fowler's father, Mr. J. P. Fowler, in La Grange, Georgia during the holidays. J. W. says that his father is recuperating very nicely after an extended illness. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Leopard and Mr. and Mrs. Coley Campbell attended the Gospel Singing in Asheville, N. C. January 1st. Lydia Bell says she hopes the old saying is true, what you do on New Years you do all year. She says she really does like to hear good sinigng like that was. We would like to extend our welcome mat out to Charles Butler. Charles comes to us from the second shift. S Sgt and Mrs. Larry Fowler announce the birth of a daughter, December 29 at Denver, Colorado. Sgt Fowler is stationed at Riley Air Force Rase there. He is the son of J. W. Fowler. I asked J. C. Billy Ray Phillips of the U. S. Navy spent Christmas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hobert Phillips. Mrs. Cecil Spurlock and children spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Marcelle Barker. Coming especially to attend the funeral of Mr. Joe P. Terrv. Mr. and Mrs. Marcelle Barker and Carrol spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Spurlock and children in Charleston. Mrs. Marcelle Barker and Mrs. Cecil Spurlock visited their brother in Hartsville during Christmas.
