All the employees in Weaving S1 wish to thank Clinton Mills for the nice basket and contents they presented to us for Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. We are glad to have Clinton Gambrell of No. 2 Weaving back with us but we miss you Ken! Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Jennings carried their daughter, Doris, to Charlotte, N. C. to an eye specialist for treatment. Doris is doing fine. Mrs. D. G. Jackson. Lake WEAVING NO. 1 2ND SHIFT By Beatrice Hawks Mr. John Med lock and Janeea Medlock of Liberty visited Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Alexander during the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Cokor and family visited Mr. J. C. Coker's parents. Mr. and Mrs. These three lovelies are the are Sandra Griliin, Martha Jenni couldn't get into the nursery to g< Clarence Coker, in Honea Path and Mrs. Coker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kimsev in Pickens during Christmas holidays. Mr. J. J. Smith had all her children home for Christmas dinner except Mr. and Mrs. Lester Smith who came later. Mr. Lester Smith and wife are making their home in Tucson. Arizona. They arrived on Christmas eve for a visit with relatives. Alvin Hueble, nephew of Mrs. Nell Gardner, left Monday. January 1(1, for induction in the Army. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kuykendall and family visited Mrs. Kuykendall's mother in N. C. during the holidays. Earnest Hardeman and family of Fayetteville. N. C. visited Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kuykendall Christmas day. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Vaughn and children and Ann Vaughn of Hampton, Va. visited Ernest Vaughn. Mrs. Hawks and Beatrice Christmas. Susan Lawson, daughter of Homer Lawson. was 2 years old the 29th of January. Franklin Alexander was 20 years old January 12. Well I hope everyone had a nice vacation and Santa was good to them. Walton and Mrs. Walton of Colgite, Georgia spent a few days with their son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Walton, during Christmas. Roddy McAllister celebrated his 10th birthday December 6. Jerry Wilkie had a birthday January 8. Louise Webb has been in the hospital a few days but is home now. Mell Huev and I went shopping in Greenville Christmas week. Leo Riser retired Christmas. We do hope he will enjoy his leisure time and be A 1- - musi nappy. I do want to say thanks to the company for the nice fruit baskets and bed linen. It was appreciated and I am sure we did receive a wonderful blessing knowing that each one of us do have a special job to carry on to make this a better place to work and live and an occasion like this makes everyone fill much closer together. It is true we certainly lost a friend this week end, Joe Terrv. whom everybody knew and IovpH I V->n\'o li\'nH in Clinton soon to be 30 years and during this time I have never seen as many people pay tribute to a deceased one as they did Joe. I believe it was because he was just (plain Joe) to you and to me. I feel as if his family really have something to look forward to?that is meeting him again some day. WEAVING NO. 2 2ND SHIFT By Leila Black Harriet Black spent a week of her Christmas Holidays with her sister and family. Mr. and Mrs. Wvatt Dacus, in Greenville. Linda Hooper of Newberry spent several days with her sister, Mrs. Betty Creswell, during the holidays. The entire family of Mrs. Ralph Campbell gathered at the home of her sister. Mrs. G. A. Hunman, in Pelzer for Christmas dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Louie Black visited Mr. Black's father over the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. James Blackley of Laurens, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harris of Sanford. Wayne Pruitt and Leila Black wasn't too lucky over the holidays, each had a slight wreck during the week off. But neither of them were hurt. WEAVING NO. 2 3RD SHIFT By Joe Spillers Billy Glenn spent the Christmas Holidays with his mother, Helen Glenn. Billy is a Freshman at the University of South Carolina. Billy also celebrated his 19th birthday the 6th of January. Ann Glenn, the daughter of Helen Glenn, had a birthday 5th of January, it was her 13th. Debra Metts, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Metts. celebrated her 2nd birthday the 14th of January. Evelyn Thompson had a birthday the 14th of January. WEAVING NO. 3 1ST SHIFT By Mildred Kinard & Grace Wooten Well, Happy New Year everyone. I know you all had a very nice Christmas. The vacation was so nice. We are still climbing up the ladder of manhours. Here is a little "Thought" that Mell Huey brought us. She Eddie Gregory, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Gregory. Clinton Mills, celebrated his 9th birthday December 13. 3 To Be Married In june . . ? Kr John Fuller. U. S. Army, recently informed the Clothmaker that he plans to be married June 1, 1961 in Bamberg. Germany. He and his future bride are shown above. John was employed in the Carding Department. Clinton Mills, prior to entering the Army. We extend our congratulations and best wishes to John and the future Mrs. Fuller. Ronnie Gregory observed his 7th birthday January 13. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Gregory, Clinton Mills. This little miss is Peqqy D. Proctor, daughter of Mrs. Faye Proctor, Clinton Mills. She will celebrate her 11th birthday January 29.
