Paula Shelnut will celebrate her 16th birthday on November 29. We all extend our congratulations to Hudson Davis who became the grandfather of a baby girl, Virginia Kathryn Dutton. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Dutton on November 6. Mrs. Reba Dunnaway observed a birthday on Novem iXT i and son, Mike, celebrated his on November 9. We are glad to welcome Christell Campbell back to work after being out for some time due to an operation. Mrs. Dova Broome and Betty, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Mills and daughter. Howard McCord and Doris, Pam and his mother and grandmother motored to Chimney Rock and other places of interest. They carried picnic lunch and enjoyed the day. Mrs. R. M. Morgan of Greenville visited her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Armstrong, one day during the mid week. WEAVING NO. 1 & 2 3RD SHIFT Bv Minnie Carroll News is kinda short this month. Nobody has been anywhere or done anything, at least that's what they tried to tell me. James Ammons has been a patient at Blalock Clinic for a few days. Ruth Ammons has returned to work after being on sick leave. Little Terry South, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. South, will celebrate his fourth birthday soon. Boyce Frick had a birthday November 21st. He was seven years old. "Bones" Campbell will cele urate nis birthday November 24. He said not to put his name because nobody would know who it was and he wouldn't tell his age either. Lovd White celebrated a birthday November 21. Mr. and Mrs. Horace P. Carroll celebrated a wedding anniversary November 17. Carrie Gallman has just returned to work after a short leave of absence. Gladys Sanders is back with us after undergoing an operation recently. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Carroll and daughters. Pam and Sandra, were recent week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Carroll. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wingo oi inman were visitors in Clinton recently. We'd like to take this opportunity to welcome our Supervisor to the third shift. WEAVING NO. 2 2ND SHIFT By Marie Taylor When the annual Fishing Club contest closed. Doris Hughev won first place in the Ladies Division with her eight pound and three ounce bass. Janie Phipps and Roger Dale Jackson will spend the Thanksgiving holidays with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Jackson. Mrs. Perry Sumeral visited her mother, Mrs. Minnie Dobbins, of Cross Anchor on a recent Sunday. Later in the day they visited Mr. and Mrs. Horace Williams who had been patients at Woodruff HoSDltal and also Mr and Mrc Ben Crook and daughter who had just moved back to Cross Anchor. The Crooks had been living at Ft. Pierce, Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Jackson spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Harris at Joanna. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Covan visited their niece.
