Mrs. James Blakey and Mrs. Vera Patterson of Laurens visited Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McGinnis Sunday. Reid Chanev. Joe McCall and Tommy Lanford went to Waynesville, N. C. October 2. Tommy said that everyone should try to see the mountains this year. WEAVING NO. 3 & 4 1ST SHIFT By Mildred Kinard & Grace Wooten Mr. Bobby Spires of Davenport, Iowa was a recent visitor of his Aunt and Uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred McNinch. Bobby is a nephew of Chris. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Tucker of Joanna were recent Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Tucker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fowler and Pat. Those attending the Southern Textile Exposition were J. W. Fowler, J. D. Gibbs, Jr., Ellison Roberts, and Rudolph Barker. At the time of the writing Mr. A. G. Galloway is a patient at Havs Hospital. We hope he will be back with us before too many more days. We welcome Harold Fowler to the first shift. Harold comes to us from the second shift. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Williams visited their grandson. Tony Wood, in Greenwood, who has been ill. A3 C William Adams has completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. Texas. He is spending 27 days at home with his parents before reporting to McQuire Air Force Base. Now Jersey, and from there to Fairport Base in England, where he is to be stationed 2 years. 3 David Wayne is the handsome son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby English, Clinton Mills.
