opened the 1960 season against
Riverdale in Clinton on April
26th before some 450 fans.
Mr. Templeton was selected
for this honor by "The Cavaliers".
He is an avid sports
enthusiast and has for many
years actually promoted and
supported textile baseball in
the Piedmont section of South
arolina. Templeton Field at
Poinsett Mills in Greenville,
S. C. was named for him in
1950.
