Barley, mother of Mrs. Ira Bailey, has returned to her home in Goodwater, Alabama after spending two weeks with her daughter and son-in-law. Mi*, and Mrs. Grover McInvaille visited Mr. and Mrs E. T. Neal in Greenwood recently. Mr. Clevies Wilkes and Mr. I. C. McLendon and son visited relatives in Mt. Vernon and Pennbrook, Georgia recently. Bill Patterson celebrated a Dirinaay on April 11. Mrs. Daisy Lewis of Columbus. Georgia visited her sister. Mrs. Agnes Williams, a patient at Hays Hospital and other relatives here recently. The many friends of Mrs. Agnes Williams will learn with interest that she is resting fine at Hays Hospital after suffering a heart attack the past week. We all wish for her a speedy recovery. Mrs. Corrie Gosncll of Greenville spent several davs with her brother and sisterin-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Fowler. Little Chuck, Steve and Jimmy Taylor of Marietta, are spending this week with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. CJ. C. Taylor of Hock Hill spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. John W. Motte. Mrs. Jerry Holland recently visited her mother, Mrs. J. II. Crow. Friends will be interested to learn that the Hollands have moved from Allendale to Seneca where Mr. Holland is connected with the Seneca Journal. WEAVING NO. 1 2ND SHIFT By Lillian Forester Mr. and Mrs. Perry Sum jl Bonnie Sue is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Webb Taylor. Lydia Mills. She celebrated her 13th birthday April 7. oral and sons visited relatives in Greenville last week end. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Covan celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary April 13. We were sorry to hear of Mr. and Mrs. Hiriam Hughey being called to Union on account of the death of theii brother-in-law, Mr. C. M. Hall. Mr. J. W. Campbell has been out sick. Glad to see he's able to be back with us and to know his wife is feeling lots better also. Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Forester and sons. Eugene and Jerry, visited in Greenville recently and the bovs took their first plane ride. Mrs. Dova Broome's little i*rand-dau^hter, Pamela Ann McCaulev. ccelebrated her third birthday April Tth. Bonnie Kay Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Webb Taylor celebrates hei 13th birthday in April. Mrs. Carrol Lawton and little daughter. Donna Lynn, visited her mother. Mrs. Jessie Mills, and Mr. and Mrs M. A. Forester for a few days. Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Jackson, of 149 Pine Street is spending JO days at home. He has been at Tvndal Air Force Base in Florida for two weeks for special duty and will go back to Portland Airport in Portland. Oregon. He has finished four years in the Air Force and has reinlisted for another foui years. lit II This happy little fellow is Curtis Oscar Gentry, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis W. Riser, Lydia Mills. He celebrated his first birthday April 9. THE CLOTHMAKER WEAVING NO. 2 2ND SHIFT By Marie Taylor Guess this isn't new to all you fisherman, but the fish are biting over at Lake Greenwood. Your reporter had a try at them the other day and caught five. Guess the size doesn't count as long as they're fish. Johnny Holder and Webb Taylor tried their luck one day and caught a nice little string also. So I guess we can safely say that "Spring has Sprung". Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Moore had as dinner guests Rev. and Mrs. James Mills of Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Sumeral and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sumeral visited Mr. and Mrs. Lester West and son n Greenville. Among the Easter shoppers in Greenville this week was Mrs. Perry Sumeral. Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Wilbanks will be interested to know Mr. Wilbanks is seriously ill in a Veterans Hospital in Augusta. Ga. Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Boyer of Chillicothie. Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kitron and daughter of Greenville were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ouinton Jonp? Miss Pauline Cato. daughter of Mr. Walter Cato and the late Mrs. Cato, was married April 9 to Otis Young. They spent their honeymoon in the mountains. They will make their home with her father. A recent week end. Mrs. Harold Johnson and Duane visited her mother Mrs. Lorene McAllister, in Clover. Mr. and Mrs. Harold McCloud and Mr. and Mrs. J. M.
