Miss Sandy Pittman of Greenville spent the week end with Misses Lee and Ermie McCall, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Hevward McCall. Oakley visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Oakley in Spartanburg Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Braswell, Jr. attended the Legion of the Moose convention in Hartsville recently. Miss Judy Bouknight and Mrs. Mary Lou McDaniel have been on a business trip to High Point, N. C. for several days. Mrs. Dewel Proffitt and Mrs. Linda McKittrick visited in Greenwood and Cross Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Quinton Jones of Lydia and Mr. and Mrs J. E. Braswell. Jr. and Eddie spent the week end in Kings cy School Library I " f was held at Mercer Silas Bailey inds an opportunity to see the new port, Tenn. with Mrs. Jones parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Simpson of Florence, Mrs. Jane Weisner of Lancaster and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Price attended the funeral of their uncle, Mr. Fitzhugh Donnan. We are sorry to report we are having sickness in our department. Mrs. Sara Watson is a patient at Blalock Clinic. Mr. Carl Campbell has been absent from work sick. Mrs. Mary Price was a patient at Blalock Clinic for a four rloxrc? Albert L. Odum, Jr., Teresa Odum, Jimmie Odum. and Gary Profitt are all on the sick list. Miss Judy Bouknight has accepted the position of training supervisors at Hallmark Plant after returning from a business trip to High Point, N. C. She is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Bouknight of the Draw-In Department and the late J. M. Bouknight. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wells and Mrs. Lillian Wells of Ware Shoals visited Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Osborne on a recent Sunday. Harrv Foster, Jr. spent a week end at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Foster. Everette Starnes of Atlanta, Ga. spent the week end at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Starnes. T think the ground hog must have seen his shadow by the weather we are having, but it takes the rain along with the sun to make things get along. Tt won't be long before we will be wanting some of this rain and the cold weather. So let's make the best of everything. We take this means of thanking the management and all who made it possble for us to get the rose cuttings and we hope they all live and everyone will have a lot of beautiful red roses. As for me the Red Rose is my favorite flower. We are happy to see the Good Housekeeping Award Banner hanging in our department this month, and we just hope we can get it back soon. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bigham were called to Monroe. N C. recentlv because of the death of a relative. We extend our sympathy to them in their hour of sadness. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Oakley spent Sunday in Spartanburg with their son. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Oakley, and family. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Stewart and Ralph and Kate Riddle attended the "Holiday on Ice" in Greenville February 5th. At the time of this writing Grace Bright is a hospital patient. Grace, we hope you will soon be well and back at work. Mrs. D. J. Taylor is ill and in Joanna Hospital. Little Mike Cogsdill is ill with flu. Keleene Kin# is also a flu patient.
