Mr. and Mrs. John Gallman and daughter visited in Virginia during their vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Bailey and family visited Myrtle Beach a few days recently. Paula Shelnut of Clreenwoocl is spending the summer with her mother, Mrs. Sarah Shelnut. Dianne Patterson observed a birthday July 17. Joe K. Kinsland has returned home after receiving treatment in Laurens Hospital. Dianne Davenport observed a birthday on June 28. Bobbv Bovce. grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davenport, observed his 9th birthday on July 8th. Kathy Davenport observed her Hth birthday on July 17. Mr. and Mrs. Hewitt Cook visited Gatlinburg, Tenn. a week during vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davenport and family and Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Cannon and family visited in Cherokee, N. C. recently. Mr. and Mrs. Jim May and son visited Gatlinburg. Tenn. a week recently. Mi-. and Mrs. Furman Bratcher spent a week recently at Myrtle Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gallman spent a few days at Myrtle Beach during vacation week. We are all glad to have Carl Satterfield back at work with us after his stay in Veterans Hospital for several weeks. Mrs. Lillie Belle Miller spent 2 weeks in Huntsville, Ala. with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fulmer. Ga. was a recent visitor of Mrs. Lena Revis. We are glad to report that Mrs. Eula Quinton has improved after being out several weeks sick. Mr. Tommy Moore is sure j enjoying fishing in his new I boat this summer. He has had a lot of good luck.
