Mrs. Elma Queen and Uncle Hugh Cunningham were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. John Stadalsky of Madden Station. Mrs. J. L. Tally and children of Salem spent a few days with her sister, Mrs. Robert Neal. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Powers spent a few days in Columbus, Ga. with Sgt. Willie and Mrs. Quinton. Sgt. Quinton is now stationed there. Mr. and Mrs. Neuffer Creswell spent a few days at Myrtle Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Riser spent a few days with M/Sgt. w. J. Averton at Fort McAllan. Ala. Little Mike English spent a week end with his grandparents, the Risers. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Putnam and Wallace visited Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Siegler and family. Also Mr. and Mrs. Henrv Smith and family, Martha and Sara Smith, nieces of Sudie, returned home with them for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Terry and children visited Mrs. D. G. Jackson in Columbia. Billv Watkins, Harold Fowler and Jerry Wilkie spent the week-end of the Fourth at Myrtle Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lawson and family visited in North Carolina the week of the Fourth. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Longshore and family spent a few days at Charleston. S. C. during the Fourth. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rntlor and daughter, Rhonda spent a day in the mountains during the Fourth. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Alexander and son, Franklin visited in Liberty, S. C. during the week of the Fourth. Karen Medlock, niece of Mrs. Alexander is visiting the Alexanders this week. Lucv Robinson. Birthdays Linda Lawson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lawson was 3 years old July 2nd. Wayne Smith, son of Kat Smith was 6 vears old June 28th. Anniversaries Mr. and Mrs. Robert Butler have a wedding anniversary the 26th of July. WEAVING NO 9 2nd Shift By Leila Black Mr. Albert Turner took his children on a tour to Myrtle Beach last week. Iris Turner is spending several days at Myrtle Beach with a group of friends. Christine and Kathv Taylor spent several days at Camp Buck Horn. Mrs. Virginia Travmon and Mrs. Margaret Taylor were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Taylor last week. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harris of Fountain Inn and Mrs. Vera Patterson of Wattsvillc spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McGinnis Harold Fowler. Billy Watson. Jerry Wilkie and Leon Hedgepath went to Myrtle Beach last week. Mr. and Mrs. Bovce Lawson and children and Mrs. Shirley Longshore visited the mountains of North Carolina last week.
