Ann Dorr, and Anna Houstan went shopping in Columbia recently. They also attended a Stanley Rally at the Jefferson Hotel. Tonita Miles and Mrs. Gladys Hucks have had the flu but they are better now. Marv Miles was also on the flu list. We have really had a lot of it around. Mrs. Ruth Cathcart. and Mrs. Vera Smith attended Mr. Oscar Parkman's funeral in North Augusta. Mr. Parkman was Mrs. Smith's uncle. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lowery, Mrs. Geneva Lowery, Mrs. Ruth Hingas. Mr. and Mrs. David Mann met Ruth's husband, David Mann, at Don aldson Air Force Base on his return from New Zealand. SP/5 Richard Dunaway arrived in Korea Dec. 8th. Ricky Dunaway is a patient in the General Hospital in Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Gilham have both been ill and in the hospital. BIRTHDA VS: Eloise Daniel had a birthday Oct. 28. Jimmy Black well was 12 years old Nov. 27. SPOOLING 1ST SHIFT By Kate Riddle Well, here we are again having just celebrated Thanksgiving. All report a very nice day and all the good things to eat that go with Thanksgiving. We take this means of thanking the management for the weeks vacation with pay at Christmas. We wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we will be rested and ready to do our best on our job in 1959. We see on the Safety Record that we are climbing toward the one million man hours worked without a lost time accident.
